Research station ZRC SAZU Prekmurje has been established in autumn 2008 through the collaboration of ZRC SAZU and the municipality of Tišina and thanks to numerous donors and benefactors. The facility's personnel operate within distinct institutes of ZRC SAZU according to his or her research area, where the research topics constitute and entire field of research. The main objective Research station ZRC SAZU Prekmurje is a multi-layered investigation of the history of Prekmurje from 17th century up to modern times.
